Our goal is to provide a developmentally appropriate curriculum that will enhance social, emotional, physical and intellectual growth in young children. Kids Place along with parental support share a common goal: providing the best learning opportunities we possibly can for the child. Working together, we believe that optimum development will be obtained.
Our Classrooms
Our classrooms are specially designed with the child in mind
Infants
Kids Place utilizes the Creative Curriculum as the foundation for our practices. It is a research-based curriculum designed for use with children from infancy through Kindergarten.
Our infant curriculum starts off exposing our little ones to lots of language opportunities by singing nursery rhymes, reading picture books and singing songs to them every day to enrich their language skills. The teachers will also enhance the infant's social, emotional and cognitive development by providing a variety of developmentally appropriate activities such as bouncing, lifting, clapping, gentle tickles, peek-a-boo, reading, tummy time, and singing.
They also go on mats for crawling and rolling to greater develop their motor skills. But most of all, our teachers will cuddle, rock your baby, and provide stimulating massages so that babies feel the love and warmth that they so much desire for a sound emotional development.
Toddlers
Our toddler program also utilizes Creative Curriculum which incorporates developmentally appropriate practices that consider the child's developmental level and provides opportunities for teachers to work with children who have various skills and abilities. Our spacious facility will provide the opportunity for your toddler to develop in all areas of development including social-emotional, physical, cognitive, literacy, mathematics, science, social studies and the arts.
Our structured schedule with age-appropriate experiences can offer opportunities for children to develop self-help skills and give them ample time to work on these important tasks. Remember that adults are important role models. We model self-help skills to help young children become independent by allowing and encouraging them to take responsibility for themselves whenever possible.
